The Council promotes efficient management of State government resources in a variety of ways. The Council serves its members by encouraging professional development and by providing quality educational programs. In an effort to accomplish these goals the council holds a 3 day training conference yearly where key agency leaders, personnel and industry leaders are invited to present on salient topics. Members get to hear directly with these leaders and interact in an informal environment that is conducive to learning. In addition to this, members get an opportunity to network with colleagues and the conference agenda is typically build to encourage these interactions.
